![]() ![]() ![]() I have LTSpice on another Intel Mac and just did a software update. I suspect this is a problem with Big Sur not strictly specific to M1 Macs. Files in these locations were placed in the Trash and the Trash was emptied. That includes the files in /Documents/LTSpice and the contents of /Library/Application Support/LTSpice. In my case set up my M1 Mac with the configuration assistant with a bootable drive for my old High Sierra OS Mac mini, so prior to the new install I removed all the LTSpice files I know about before doing an install of the most current download. examples/jigs/ADA4097-1.asc to usr location. When I press the model update button on my new M1 installation I very quickly see "2856] Error copying moving file. If I can run the both the software and model upload procedure without error, even after a fresh install, then I believe that the version is "healthy". A number of years ago software update on the Mac was broken and I was told, via email by Mike Englehardt that the Mac version wasn't being worked on and to use Windows. I use the ability of LTSpice to do a either a software or model upgrade test as a test of the Mac version's health. Sorry for the late reply, I have been unavoidably off-line. I put the old LTSpice in the trashDid you just delete the shortcut (or link), or did you actuallyĪbout the copying part, maybe you have to retry, but if all you did Anyone with Apple M1 experience with LTSpice? What do you mean with this: Work, when I try to update models LTSpice throws an error that it can't copyĪn item. I had copied apps for much older install, so and downloaded the latest MacOS version. Just installed LTSpice for Mac OS on new Mac mini with the M1 processor andīig Sur. ![]()
